This hybrid combines the best of two outstanding Sarracenia. 'Leah
Wilkerson' is a naturally occuring hybrid, first discovered in Walton co., Florida. She lends her red throat patch to many of the hybrids where her genetics are used. Sarracenia Umlauftiana is a very old cultivar that has snowy white hoods, held upright. This hybrid produces an abundance of tubby little pitchers, about 10" tall. Suitable for windy locations, this hybrid never needs support and the pitchers handle rain and wind beautifully
